All TDI Crates are designed from the inside out, starting with support required for fragile media and forms, followed by cushioning requirements determined by the object itself and the chosen mode of transport. The selection and application of foam for cushioning in all TDI crating is based on calculation and experience.
Our proprietary software uses technology to produce our crates, assuring a high level of precision and providing quick and accurate price quotations. All TDI "solid" wall crates are certified and stamped to meet current European Union specifications for wood packaging.
We are also celebrated among museums for our superior packing and crating services, as well as our innovative adaptation of commercially available materials that meet conservation standards. Our crating methods have been informed by the research of the Canadian Conservation Institute; in turn our standards have served as a guide for many institutions.
